ASTANA. Feb 23 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The letter that Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Energy sent to the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (Office of Foreign Assets Control) was purely informational and concerned the republic’s preemptive right to acquire the stake of Lukoil in joint projects, the ministry told Interfax-Kazakhstan.
