New Kazakh constitution takes effect, parliament dissolved

ALMATY. July 1 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakhstan's new constitution, adopted in a March 15 referendum, took effect on July 1, replacing the previous basic law of Aug. 30, 1995.
