Kazakh Interior Ministry backs Senate’s proposal to ban face-covering clothing in public

ASTANA. June 18 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs supports the initiative earlier proposed by the Senate, the upper house of parliament, to ban face-covering clothing in public places, citing security concerns, Interior Minister Yerzhan Sadenov said Wednesday.
