Kazakhstan doubles barley exports in seven months, with Iran as top buyer

ALMATY. May 5 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan exported 1.55 million metric tonnes of barley from September 2024 through March 2025, more than double the 780,000 tonnes shipped during the same period last agricultural year, according to Yevgeny Karabanov, head of analytics at the Grain Union.
